MM> MM> How did COVID make people want to read paper vs. digital books? I cannot speak for others but, for me, COVID meant spending a *whole* lot more time in front of a computer for work. No more getting up to and leaving it for a meeting... everything happened on screen. After my working hours, it was nice to have a break from the PC and other electronics. There is no way I would have finished War of the Worlds, or the several other H. G. Wells books I read during COVID, if I had to read them from a screen, too. Granted I have never been much of an ebook reader, though, but I have read a few that way. When I was reading "From the Earth to the Moon (and a Trip Around It)," when I didn't have access to the physical book I was able to continue reading it online from the wikimedia books site.
