Usually every year they rebroadcast a couple of new and older shows from the BBS, but without subscribing to BritBox or something you won't see them anywhere else. At the moment there's not much on there but I hope that's just a brief situation.. I'm just glad the Fall TV season has now started up again. I have to watch a lot of older shows during the summer when all the main shows are off the air or in repeats if I don't save some up to watch later when there's lots on. I lost a huge collection of saved shows when the recorder on my Satellite TV system fried a few weeks back, so I've been watching a lot of mostly older movies. I actually rarely watch movies unless they are well known ones I've been hoping to see. I always find when I'm watching pretty much any movie they put on TV that I'm amazed at how many of them are really pretty bad, even ones with well known actors in them. My TV service recently gave us 4 feeds of the Starz network at no extra cost. They show mostly older movies, but the bigger ones that were at the theaters. Since I don't get out to see movies, I'm finding a lot there that are, if not new, are new to me and on average better than the made for TV variety. BTW.. If it sounds like I Live for TV, I actually only watch TV for about 3 hours in the evening, other than catching the news when having lunch. I spend a lot more hours reading than watching TV. --- * SLMR Rob * Tagline?..Not for me thanks, I'm trying to cut down! * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (618:250/1) |
