RM> DI>Autumn weather is finally heading my way. It's finally
RM> DI>dropped into the 80s,

RM>
RM> Up where I am in Canada we had frost warnings a couple of days
RM> ago. Fortunately it has warmed up a little since then. Days are
RM> currently sunny and in the high 60's F and nights slowly
RM> warming over the next week from about 40F to 53F..
RM>
RM> I know what you mean about getting older though.. Winter lows
RM> have krept up over the years but I feel -25F more than I used
RM> to feel -40F. Lots of time outside in winter shoveling snow
RM> from about 400 feet of walkways around my place. This may be
RM> the last winter I stay here over the winter.. I'm 72 BTW..

Rob, Reading Your post reminded me of a day in April when I talked about
starting to see leaves come out on the Lilac Bushes and Trees and the Canadian
Ham I was talking to (over the airwaves) told me He had been fixing the Plumbing
in his Summer Place so his family could stay down there in the Summer.

Another April I drove through Memphis Tennessee and saw all of the beautiful
blooms in the area.
When I got back home to Indiana all the vegetation was bare.

This Earth being tilted at 23 Degrees allows the wx changes in each Latitude.
You Northeners have longer cold spells and shorter warm seasons.
Opposite for those in the Southern Hemispere.

Age here is 84.
