I assume you mean looking 'tough' you should expect that sort of thing?

I wasn't much thinking about that aspect of it at the time.
I was just being me, and I turned down more girls looking to date
a guy like me than I had girls turn me down when I asked them out.

Of course I was working so much after school I didn't have much
time for dating so it didn't come up often. By my last 2 years
of highschool I had a girlfriend living pretty much on her own
so I could see her at times when 'regular' girls would not have
been allowed to 'socialize'..
