That's the same with us. We record our favorite shows to watch during dinner.
Some of these same ones are available on various streaming services, but we
usually watch them on the DVR. We subscribe to vary many as the Satellite
service costs us enough. Why pay for duplication? During the baseball season,
from Spring Training to the World Series, if my team is playing, I usually eat
my dinner in the hamshack if the game is on.

We've had that happen before. We actually have two DVRs. We have one that has
two receivers and then we have another that has 4 or 6, I cannot remember.
What's nice is that they are connected together and we can watch recorded shows
on either DVR on any TV. (We have 4, so two apiece...)

I like a lot of old movies, the black and white ones. Lately, I have been
watching some "classic" sci-fi movies on YouTube.

We get that, too. I find there aren't enough movies we like to warrant paying
for yet another channel or package.

Usually, if the TV is on, it's baseball. I follow a few channels on YouTube, but
most often I'm reading BBS messages, both FTN and amateur radio packet BBS
messages, or working on one of those same BBS systems.
