We have a similar thing built into the regular library here but, unlike
some places, the number of copies of the eBooks is controlled as if
they were copies of a paper book, usually just 1 or 2. I believe the
files are timed to self destruct in 2 weeks and after that the eBook goes
back into the system, Often there are multiple people 'in line' waiting
to get some eBooks once they come available again..
