A group of crows is called a murder of crows.

Why? I looked it up online and found this:

"A group of crows is called a "murder" due to its historical association with
death, as they are scavengers often found on battlefields and near cemeteries.
This poetic and dramatic name likely originated in the 15th century and was
part of a tradition of giving animals colorful and fanciful collective nouns.
The name may also reflect folklore suggesting crows gather to judge and kill a
weaker member of the flock.

Crows are scavengers that historically would appear on battlefields and near
carrion, which led to a belief that they portended death or disaster.

Folk tales and superstitions contributed to the name. One such story is that
crows would hold a "parliament" to decide the fate of another crow.

The term "murder" is part of a tradition of giving fanciful names to groups of
animals, which was particularly popular during the medieval and early modern
periods.

The term resonates due to its gothic and dramatic feel, which also aligns with
the imagery in some literature, such as the works of Edgar Allan Poe."
