I don't have a major enough Data plan to stream TV shows so I have the
'Basic' full package from Rogers Digital Satellite. It costs more than
I wish it did but there's not much out there cheaper.

Plus my TV is so old that getting streamed content to it would
be tricky, not impossible, but not easy..

I virtually never watch Live TV anymore. If it's recorded you can
jump over the commercials and watch 4 hours of TV in 3 hours.

I've caught a few as old as the late 1980's but I generally don't
look for anything much older than 2000. I've been getting a lot of
Sci-Fi movies that were originally at the theaters on that Starz
Network. That's been handy after I lost all my recorded movies
in the PVR Crash but I wouldn't pay extra for added channels, so
far at least.

RQ>Usually, if the TV is on, it's baseball.

Ironically, I get a huge number of Sports channels in my basic
package and I set it up so they don't even display on the guide.
I never got into watching sports other than the odd time during
the Olympic Games. I played a lot of sports in my youth but I
never got into watching others playing them..

This has tended to please women friends no-end over the years.. B)
