Sean, SD> My cataract surgey wentr wekk and wow, I didn't know hpw bad my SD> vision was. My right eye sees everything in a dull yellowish SD> tint and my left eye sees everything in brilliant color. Can't SD> wait to get my right eye fixed next month! Fine business. My visual acuity went from 20/2000 to 20/20 with a little bit of astigmatism. I had worn glasses since 4th grade, and the elementary school teacher told my parents that I couldn't tell time. They said "He can tell time...he can't see the clock!!". Dr. Mike McFarland, who pioneered the no-stitch cataract surgery, did mine. When he came out with it, they thought he was crazy. Now, it is the industry standard. But now, the dry corneas cause blurred vision without warning, so I had to quit driving, and sell my car 3 1/2 years ago. So, unless I get transportation to another deal, I never leave the house. Yet, I'm glad all I need are reading glasses when working at the computer, with the smartphone, or with my new ham radio playtoy, the SharkRF M1KE...where I can now do AllStar. 73, Daryl, N5VLZ ... Benign ... What you are after you be eight. === MultiMail/Win v0.52 --- SBBSecho 3.29-Win32 * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS - Little Rock, Arkansas (618:250/33) |
