I don't appear to be loading anything else special in the BAT that calls the
door or the one that calls GT Power that I could point to and suggest.

I think there are a few differences between our configurations.

(1) I am currently running under DOSBOX-X, but the setup for YT was the
same from when I was running under dosemu.
(2) I am calling YT from the old DOS GT Power BBS (which is running in the
same DOSBOX-X session) and not trying to call it from a different OS.
(3) I am not loading a fossil.

So there could be something special that needs doing or some other quirk
that I am not aware of.
