Ice Climbing
Frozen misty mountain slopes
and walls of rock and ice
Climbing to hidden Heaven's peak
and never-ending height
Chill wind stings the tender flesh
colness makes the bones go stiff
Death waits upon this windy ledge
and on the ground beneath the cliff
Forbidden wings will take him there
his born restraint will spawn desire Desperation strikes the heart
but instincts will always take him higher
Higher than the birds may fly
upon a mighty mountain throne
To see the lands no man has seen
to live his mighty triumph Alone
