Honestly, if it had not been such big-named, high-powered schools as they were, I am not sure it would have been criminal. IIRC, they are getting hit with things like mail fraud because, to my knowledge, "falsifying adminssions credentials" is not criminal. I think if they'd tried that at my college, they'd of probably been SUED (civil court) but not tried as criminals because it is not an Ivy League school or one with a particularly well-known academic record. |
