Yeah, I think they should have to go through some therapy sessions first to make sure that there are not some other underlying problems. If they think being reassigned is going to fix them and it does not, then they may be even unhappier than they were before they were reassigned. A couple of years ago, I guess when this was a hot topic, Youtube was suggesting some random videos. I watched a few before realizing that the young "lady" had been a man. Thing is, the videos were about all of her different mental problems, including an apparent multiple personality disorder. If you cannot already guess, some of the personalities were very happy being in a female body, and some were not. Obviously, there is a lot more going on there than simply being "born the wrong sex." I think those problems should have been addressed before the surgery. Maybe he would not have even needed the surgery if his other issues were under control. > I asked her, if a man transitions into a woman, does that mean they suddenly > know what its like to be a woman, does that give them the right to have a > voice in womens-lib movements, if they are attracted to another woman does > that make them lesbians? I read something about Kaitlin/Bruce Jenner about a year ago that indicated that he still was attracted to women but was find it more difficult to have a relationship with one now that he has been reassigned. The article went on to insinuate that he might be wishing to go back. Something more wrong there than reassignment could fix, too. IMHO, living surrounded by the Kardashian women for too long probably broke his brain.
