Well... I had a slightly different theory.  The Lee I originally remembered
engaging with on FIDO didn't seem so hard-headed or as likely to jump to
trying to curse (or gross) someone out when they didn't agree with him.

The Lee that started showing up later did all of those things, and in a
manner much like Bjorn does.  Much like Bjorn, he would argue with you even
if you were trying to agree with him.

My theory was that the originaly Lee quit posting and at some point his
FIDO identity was assumed by Bjorn.  Otherwise, there is no way to
explain how, on two occassions, I received messages with one name in the
FROM field, but which were "written" by the other.

The second of those times was witnessed by others in one of the FIDO sysop
echoes and I cannot remember which of them the message header said wrote it.

The first time was in a netmail where the from said "Lee" but the text was
from Bjorn as he referenced being a "Z2 sysop."  When I responded asking
"Lee" if he had joined Z2 as a sysop, I never got a response.

Those original interactions I mentioned above were in an echo that had
originally been about "weird news" but whose moderator had taken it into
the realm of endtimes discussion.  He believed the end was coming soon.
Lee trolled him... as I did... but I don't remember Lee being outright
disgusting back then.

When that echo eventually dried up, I didn't see Lee around for a long time
until he started posting in the POLITICS echo.
