Jesse Ventura has suggested pulling the US military out of the 140 some-odd
countries where we have a presence. If they want defense forces, they can
contract out Haliburton or whatever Blackwater calls themselves these days.

Although, turning retired military into a for-profit enterprise on that
scale is mind-bogglingly scary, given the state of corporate ethics. What
would we have, a military coup for non-payment of services?
