I have heard that Thompson (sp?), Manitoba, has a pretty serious crime
issue also.  More muggings, etc., that murders, from what I hear.

That is how it is here also, unless you are watching FOX News.  :)  I
usually try to get my national news from the local news hours... some of
the stations are actually pretty matter-of-fact in their news delivery
(like they all used to be).  Others have jumped on the sensationalism
bandwagon, like the networks have.
