I had that same problem when I tried installing a new 6x CD-ROM drive. I had all the drivers loaded and the CD-ROM itself installed correctly. What I had to do was use the controller card that came with the CD-ROM, even though the CPU already had one. For some reason, different CD-ROM manufacturers have different settings for controller cards, and my old controller card couldn't handle (Or the Driver wouldn't handle the controller) the new CD-ROM. Anyway, try installing a new controller card that either came with the CD-ROM or get one that you know will. -=�Doomsday�=- |
