Hello Sean. 12 Feb 19 16:48, you wrote to All: SR> To be honest, no matter what structure is out in place, people will SR> find a way if they are desperate enough. Surely better to the money to SR> better use in trying to keep people at home Here's my take on it: we (the US) is already spending over $15 billion a year on illegal immigrants. I have no problem with legal immigrants as that's what's made America: a melting pot. We're really monoculturalistic and not multiculturalistic but everyone brings their own special thing to being an American. The wall is there to keep criminals and unwanted people out. We have a myriad of laws that can help immigrants become citizens. My issue is with these immigrants trying to turn America into a clone of their country. If you want to do that in America, why didn't you stay home and improve your own country? I don't consider myself xenophobic. I consider America to be a nation of laws and if you want to be here, you need to follow the laws just like everyone else. Side note: did you know Billy Idol became an American citizen recently? Later, Sean (Thank you for trying to drive some traffic in here.) --- GoldED/2 3.0.1 * Origin: Micronet World HQ - bbs.outpostbbs.net (618:618/1) |
