Regarding: High speed cd-rom's.

     Is the 7 pack a proprietary scheme, SCSI or what?  I'd guess its SCSI.
How about your single?  IDE, or proprietary?  Does it run off your HD
Controller or a sound card or a special card?
     Need ALL those questions answered before I can know what direction this
is.
