warmer temperatures next week.
- Dry weather is expected to continue through at least midweek
with rain chances possibly returning by Friday.

In the upper levels, a ridge is over the Mississippi Valley and a
closed low is just off the coast of the Mid-Atlantic. At the
surface, high pressure is centered over the Great Lakes extending
southward to the Gulf Coast. A Nor'easter is just off the coast of
the Mid-Atlantic. Dry, sunny weather with pleasant temperatures will
continue this weekend and into early next week with highs mainly in
the 70s.
By midweek, the pattern starts to change with a weak ridge over the
Southeast and a closed low developing over the Southwest. A warming
trend will become noticeable by Tuesday or Wednesday with highs in
the 80s for the rest of the workweek. Some low rain chances are in
the forecast for Thursday and Friday to account for uncertainty but
it looks like the system will move northeast into the Midwest late
in the workweek.
