A few showers in northeast Spain although for most areas of Spain and Portugal it stays dry and sunny. More sunshine for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Italy, Greece and Turkiye will be likewise hot and sunny. Scattered showers for the far south of France but generally dry and sunny throughout France, the Low Countries, Germany and Poland. Further sunshine and dry weather in Hungary, Austria and most of Switzerland although a few afternoon showers in the mountains. Denmark should be fine and dry with sunshine. Staying fair for the Baltic States with some breeze. Showery rain in western Norway, drier eastwards. Broken cloud and sunny spells in Sweden. Showers in northern Finland, some heavy. Tuesday High pressure centred over east-central Europe draws hot air into the heart of the continent. Localised afternoon showers develop for eastern Spain and over the Pyrenees, otherwise Spain and Portugal will be hot and dry. Largely fine over the Mediterranean and Italy, though isolated afternoon showers are possible inland. Greece and Turkiye will be dry and sunny. Isolated showers by afternoon for southern France and the Alps, otherwise a broad zone of dry, sunny and hot weather through central and northern Europe, from France to the Low Countries, Germany and Poland. Odd showers may form in Romania. Showery in northern Norway and areas of showers for Finland too, some heavy. Much of Sweden and Denmark stays dry.
