MYSTERIOUS BLUE FLASHES FROM AVALANCHES: Astrophotographers in China have just
reported something potentially new and mysterious: Blue lights from avalanches.
The phenomenon has been recorded on at least two different mountains during
long-exposure shots of the night sky.
