If it is cold, and the trip is short, I would leave mine on between stops
in the car just because it was easier and it didn't bother me to have it
on. That way I didn't have to touch it as much. I also found that wearing
one while I was out walking (neck gaiter variety) on days when it was blustery
cold out was actually nice. It fit better around my mouth and nose than my
scarf.

Now that it is warming up, I don't want a mask anywhere near my face when it
doesn't have to be.

A lot of it is BS but I suspect the social distancing and mask wearing is
what kept the flu numbers around here way down this past season. That, and
the bigger school districts in my state were on remote learning during the
whole season. That kept the little germ factories known as kids from being
together as much.

They have for sure blown a bunch of the recent police incidents out of
proportion. There is a YT video of an older black gentleman going off on a
new reporter when she asks him about the violence. His answer basically
blames the media for inflaming the masses and making things much worse than
they should be. The reporter seemed genuinely shocked. I was shocked that
she was surprised at all.

I did an experiment with YT where I watched and searched only for videos
that were not politics or wuhan coronavirus related. For a few days, my
feed cleaned up but, after about a week, nearly half of the first 10 videos
recommended would be about 1 or both of the 2.

They profit from views, and they keep people viewing by pissing them off or
making them scared.
